Karishma Lal
Karishma is a registered nurse who is currently on her pathway to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Being of Māori and Pacific descent, she is committed to the health and wellbeing of Māori and Pacific communities.
She is aware of the healthcare barriers faced by these groups in Aotearoa and is driven by a mission to achieve equitable health outcomes. Karishma’s approach to healthcare is holistic, utilising her comprehensive knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care and support to those in need.
Her passion for nursing is fuelled by the connections she forms with patients and the positive impact she can make in their lives.
Outside the professional realm, Karishma values the time spent with her family and dedicating spare time to complete study-related assignments.
