Dr. Danielle Tan

Tend Linwood Medical Centre

Dr. Danielle is originally from Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland and she completed her medical degree at the University of Auckland. After moving to Christchurch/Ōtautahi, she has served at Christchurch Hospital for two years. Currently a general practice house officer, she is focused on advancing her career in general practice.

She has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is pursuing another in Child Health at the University of Otago. Her special interests lie in women's health and the insertion of long-acting reversible contraception, driven by her passion for empowering women and gender-diverse individuals to achieve their fullest potential and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Danielle appreciates interacting with a diverse range of patients, assisting them in optimising their health and wellbeing. Outside her medical pursuits, she enjoys snowboarding, knitting, yoga, pottery, and exploring Aotearoa's great walks.

I am passionate about supporting women and other gender diverse people to recognise their full potential and optimise their health to give them the autonomy to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
