Robin is a nurse prescriber with over 15 years of experience. Nurse prescribers undergo additional training to be able to prescribe medication and are integral to the care team. 

Robin began her career in pediatrics, later expanding her expertise to renal medicine and working as an after-hours circulating nurse. Her journey in healthcare saw her taking on the role of Clinical Team Coordinator at Burwood Hospital for several years. 

Currently, Robin's primary focus is on diabetes care, aiming to prevent the long-term complications associated with the condition. Additionally, she has completed a level 8 paper in Diabetes, qualifying her as a nurse prescriber in general practice with a specialty in diabetes care and management.

In her spare time she enjoys gardening, exercise and spending time with family.

Preventative care is very important as I have witnessed over the years the benefits of good, preventative, care on people.
Diabetes is a medical condition where your body has trouble regulating the sugar in your blood, which can lead to health problems, and it often requires managing blood sugar levels through diet, exercise, and sometimes medication.
