Ana Francis is a dedicated nurse practitioner with a strong background in emergency medicine. Graduating from Massey University in 2017, Ana has garnered extensive experience working in various Emergency Departments across Thames, Waikato, and Tauranga.

With a focus on assessing acute and chronic concerns across all age groups, Ana's time in emergency medicine has honed her assessment skills and prepared her for the challenges of primary healthcare.

Ana will always have a passion for acute care, but is also passionate in working with youth and young adults to address their physical and mental health needs. She also demonstrates a keen interest in sexual health and women's health, striving to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns.

As a clinician, Ana finds fulfilment in making a positive impact on her patients' lives by providing compassionate care and empowering them to lead healthier lives.

Outside of work, Ana enjoys spending quality time with her husband, engaging in activities such as camping, fishing, and DIY projects.

I enjoy being able to connect with the young adults and help them feel seen and heard, and create a safe space where they feel they can come and speak freely with me.
