Frequently asked questions

How do I book an appointment?
The fastest and easiest way to book an appointment is via the Tend app.  However you’re welcome to also call us or email us. Visit our support section for more detail on how to use the app

Call your clinic or email Fill in our contact form.
How much does Tend cost?
You can see us casually, for $79, or you can enrol with us and enjoy subsidised pricing and access to funded medical services.

Your enrolled fees will be based on your age and the location of your enrolment (usually the closest Tend clinic to your residing address). See here for a list of general consultation fees at our clinics.
Why enrol with Tend?
Enrolling means our doctors and nurses become your main contact for your healthcare needs. If you have long-term health conditions and need regular medication, it's a good idea to enrol with Tend. This way we can offer continued care and renew your prescriptions.

Benefits of enrolling:
- More affordable appointments for adults and youths
- Discounts for Community Service Card holders
- FREE appointments for children under 14
- Order repeat prescriptions in under 30 seconds in the app
- See all your notes and test results in the app

Enrolling is free only takes 3 minutes via the app and we take care of all the paperwork for you!  You can only enrol if we have a clinic near your residential address.

To get started all you need is a smartphone, NZ phone number, email address, debit/credit card and passport/driver’s license/other ID to verify your identity.
