Laura Waller
Laura is a designated nurse prescriber at Tend Harewood with a broad background in healthcare, having worked in mental health (both inpatient and community settings, rest home care, surgical wards, and both rural and urban general practice.
She runs nurse-led clinics in managing long term conditions and is interested in managing diabetes, COPD, asthma and heart failure. Laura is also interested in sexual health and takes a preventative, patient-centred approach to care.
Laura enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with GPs, prescribing pharmacists, nurses, health coaches and health improvement practitioners to deliver wrap-around care tailored to each patient.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, playing netball, doing pilates, biking, gardening, walking and travelling when she can.
