Having undergone training at various locations, including Dunedin, Wellington, and Hawke's Bay, Nerissa accumulated valuable experience over the years. Her medical journey led her to practice in different regions before settling back in her hometown of Tauranga to embark on her general practice training.

Nerissa has a keen interest in women's health and sexual health, recognising the significance of these aspects in overall well-being. She believes that providing expert and compassionate care in these areas can profoundly impact an individual's health.

As a clinician, she finds fulfilment in establishing meaningful relationships with her patients and their families, aiming to make a lasting positive impact on their health and well-being. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys activities such as reading, exercising, baking, and gardening.

Establishing genuine connections with my patients and their families allows me to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
