Tim Fitzgerald

Tim has more than 15 years' experience in finance and investment management. As a member of the Ngāi Tahu Holdings leadership team, he oversees the iwi's investment assets and private equity programme. His governance roles include director of Fidelity Life and Mint Aotearoa, and board observer at Hilton Haulage.

Tim joined Ngāi Tahu Holdings in 2015 and was appointed General Manager Investment in May 2024, having previously spent six years as Investment Manager with responsibility for investment origination and execution. Before joining Ngāi Tahu, he worked in NAB Group's institutional banking division, managing debt exposures for some of New Zealand's largest corporate borrowers.
