Amna was born in Lahore, Pakistan, did her medicine degree from King Edward Medical University. She is settled in Auckland now for over 8 years with her family.

Amna has worked in diverse locations including Taranaki Base Hospital, North Shore hospital, Auckland City Hospital and Starship in multiple specialities, before joining general practice. She has special interest in family medicine, women's health, children's health and minor surgeries.

In her spare time, Amna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching TV, and travelling.
