Aura is a Community Nurse Prescriber working across Tend Kingsland and Symonds Street clinics. Originally from the Philippines, she began her nursing career in New Zealand in 2018, initially in aged care before moving into primary health in 2019. Passionate about continuous growth and community impact, Aura pursued additional training to become a Community Nurse Prescriber.

She enjoys working collaboratively with patients to assess, prescribe, and create care plans that support their healing journey. Her areas of interest include wound care, phlebotomy and cannulation. Aura finds deep satisfaction in making a difference, one conversation and connection at a time.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting outdoors, camping, and nurturing her love of plants.

It has always been a rewarding experience for me and knowing that the patients are one step into their healing process.
