Dr. Daniele is a GP at Tend Pakuranga who has recently relocated to Aotearoa from Italy. His interest in medicine began with a fascination for the science of the human body and the technological advances that make modern treatment possible. Over time, he discovered that family medicine also offers something deeper, the opportunity to share in people’s journeys toward better health and wellbeing.

His interests include cardiovascular prevention, diabetes management, pain management and mental health. Daniele is passionate about combining scientific evidence with patients’ individual values and preferences to provide care that is both effective and personal.

Daniele enjoys spending time in nature and has a particular love for the ocean and marine life. Living in Auckland allows him to stay close to the sea, where he enjoys photography, sailing, learning about marine animals with a lifelong dream of seeing a great white shark.

I love the idea that we can provide the best possible care for patients every day by combining scientific evidence with patients' preferences and values in a unique way. It's a big challenge, but it's the job I want to do with my colleagues for the rest of my life.
