Dr. Alexandra is a GP in her final year working towards her fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. With extensive experience at West Auckland clinics and prior roles at Waitemata and Auckland DHBs, she has a profound commitment to improving health access and services, especially within her Māori and Pasifika communities.

Alexandra has a special interest in Women’s Health, holding post-graduate qualifications in contraception and pregnancy care. Inspired by her heritage as a young Samoan female GP, she focuses on culturally sensitive care for her community.

Beyond her professional life, Alexandra cherishes spending a lot of time with her family and young son, going to playgrounds and impersonating Spiderman. When she gets some time to herself she loves reading and a good Netflix show.

I entered into the medical profession wanting to help my Māori and Pasifika communities more. I genuinely enjoy helping people and believe helping people on their health journeys is one of the most important things you can do for a person.
