Emma Hunt

RN
Tend Beckford Medical Centre
English

Emma has worked in primary care since 2008, bringing many years of experience supporting patients across a range of healthcare settings. Born in New Zealand, she spent several years living and working in the UK before returning home to complete her Bachelor of Nursing at Ara Institute of Canterbury and continue her career as a practice nurse.

Emma has particular interests in women’s health, children’s health, and the health of older adults. She enjoys supporting patients at every stage of life and is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships through holistic, patient-centred care. The variety of primary care and the opportunity to support people throughout their healthcare journey are what she enjoys most about her role.

Outside of work, Emma loves spending time outdoors and making the most of time with her family and friends.

I enjoy creating therapeutic relationships by providing holistic and patient-centred care.
