Ethan has always been drawn to problem-solving and science and medicine offered the perfect balance between analytical thinking and helping people in meaningful ways. After completing his medical training in Dunedin and Christchurch, he found his calling in general practice, where no two days are ever the same.

He has completed further training in Lifestyle and Functional Medicine and has a strong interest in helping patients improve their health holistically through nutrition, exercise and sleep. He is also passionate about skin cancer medicine and rainbow (LGBTQIA+) health, areas where he believes inclusive, evidence-based care can make a real difference.

In his spare time, Ethan enjoys staying active through running and fitness, discovering new travel destinations and enjoying great food and wine.

I love helping people take charge of their health whether that’s improving daily habits or addressing something more complex and seeing the difference it makes in their lives.
