Hadeel is an online GP at Tend with over two decades of medical experience, having completed her medical degree in Iraq in 2001 before moving to New Zealand in 2008. Her career has spanned hospital work at Auckland City and Waikato Hospitals, followed by general practice roles across the Waikato region.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of Auckland and has a special interest in women’s health, elderly care, and urgent care. Hadeel is passionate about supporting women through the unique and sometimes complex journey of pregnancy, and equally values the deep connections formed when caring for older patients.

Known for her warm and compassionate approach, Hadeel values the trust built between clinician and patient, and feels privileged to help others enjoy better health.

Outside of work, she enjoys walking, exercising, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

I enjoy the relationship between my patients and I feel grateful to be in a position where I can help people live a healthier life.
