English

James originally grew up in Auckland but completed his medical training at the University of Otago across the Dunedin and Christchurch campuses.

Prior to joining Tend Constellation Drive, he has worked at Christchurch Hospital in a variety of specialties as well as spending a year in the Emergency Department. James has a particular interest in orthopaedic injuries and urgent care, where he enjoys helping patients recover and return to their everyday lives.

When not at work he enjoys playing guitar and trumpet, cooking and mountain biking.

I enjoy helping patients get back to feeling their best, whether that’s recovering from injury or managing the challenges of everyday health.

Musculoskeletal health
Musculoskeletal health refers to the well-being of your muscles, bones, and joints, ensuring they function properly and without pain.
Urgent care
Urgent care is for when you've had an accident that's resulted in an injury or an illness that needs same-day care but are not serious enough for the Emergency Department.
