Jayde was drawn to nursing by a genuine desire to help people and make a positive difference in their health and wellbeing. After graduating from Massey University, she began her career on an orthopaedic ward before transitioning into primary care, where she enjoys the variety and continuity of patient relationships.

Her areas of interest include children’s health, musculoskeletal health and health promotion. As an authorised vaccinator, Jayde particularly values being part of a child’s growth journey from 6 weeks to 12 years.

She finds great reward in seeing patients progress toward their health goals and being part of those everyday moments of change and improvement.

Outside of work, Jayde loves spending time with her family, discovering new restaurants and swimming at the beach during summer.

It’s rewarding to see patients progress towards their health goals and to be part of those positive changes. In my role as an authorised vaccinator I have the privilege of watching children grow while providing their vaccinations from 6 weeks to 12 years.
