Josh completed his medical training at the University of Otago, with his clinical years in Christchurch. After graduating, he worked at Gisborne Hospital before spending two years in Australia working in Emergency Medicine. He has since returned to Aotearoa and is now based in Auckland working in General Practice.

Josh enjoys all aspects of general practice, including preventative care, men’s health, and managing both acute and long-term conditions. He values clear communication and works closely with patients to develop practical plans that fit their lives.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time outdoors surfing, swimming, spearfishing, and skiing. He also likes travelling and catching up with friends and family.

I enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and helping them understand their health. I value clear communication and working collaboratively to develop practical, patient-centred plans.
