Khansaa was born and raised in Iraq, where she first developed her passion for medicine. After completing her medical training there, she moved to the United Kingdom to complete a master’s degree before relocating to New Zealand to continue her career.

Before re-qualifying to practise medicine in New Zealand, Khansaa worked as a Research Doctor at the University of Auckland, contributing to clinical research in child development. After meeting the Medical Council of New Zealand’s requirements, she gained experience working in clinics in Hamilton for two years and is now continuing her GP training in Auckland.

Outside of work, Khansaa enjoys spending time with her family, visiting new places, relaxing at the beach, solving puzzles, and cooking Middle Eastern cuisine.

I enjoy working with patients from all walks of life and supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing.
