Kirin completed his medical degree at the University of Auckland and began his career in the Wellington region, working in emergency and intensive care, including aeromedical retrievals with Life Flight. He later moved back to Auckland to focus on primary care, where he enjoys the variety and continuity of general practice.

Kirin has a particular interest in acute and urgent care and enjoys the variety and fast-paced nature of general practice. He finds it especially rewarding to help patients through challenging situations and achieve positive health outcomes when they need support most.

Outside of work, Kirin enjoys walking his dog along the shore, following basketball, and proudly supporting the Hurricanes despite living in Auckland. He’s also a keen foodie who loves exploring new restaurants and hopes to take up Asian cooking classes in the near future.

I find it incredibly rewarding to help patients through vulnerable moments and guide them toward better health outcomes.
