Maranatha is a GP at Tend Kingsland and Tend Symonds Street. She completed her medical degree at the University of Nottingham after a Biomedical Science degree at the University of Southampton. Maranatha went on to work in medical and surgical specialties in Hereford, UK, followed by experience in acute medicine and forensic psychiatry before moving to Auckland in 2023 to work in urgent care and general practice.

Maranatha has special interests in women’s health and dermatology. She is passionate about advocating for women’s health, addressing health inequalities and providing accessible, holistic care. She also values the impact that effective dermatological treatment can have on a patient’s self-esteem and quality of life.

Outside of work, Maranatha enjoys hiking, reading, going to the gym, attending live music and shows and spending time with family and friends
