Megan’s journey into nursing began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she worked as a swabber and was inspired by the nurses she worked alongside. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing at Ara Institute of Canterbury and is working toward her goal of becoming a nurse prescriber.

She has an interest in preventative healthcare, wound care and supporting people with long-term health conditions. Megan enjoys working closely with patients and their whānau, providing clear, tailored health information so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, going for walks and spending time crocheting.

I enjoy providing tailored health education and working with the patient and whānau to enable informed them to make informed decisions on their health.
