Taha brings broad experience across hospital medicine and general practice. He completed his MBChB and early postgraduate training in New Zealand before spending several years working in hospital medicine as a medical registrar. This experience has given him a strong foundation in managing a wide range of health conditions, including more complex cases involving multiple health concerns.

His clinical interests include general medicine, chronic disease management, preventive health and mental health. Taha particularly enjoys supporting people with complex health needs and helping them understand their options and manage their health over time.

For Taha, the best part of being a clinician is getting to know the person behind the health concern. He takes the time to listen, understand what is happening in a patient's wider life and work with them to develop a practical plan that feels right for them.

Outside of work, Taha enjoys watching TV, reading medical review articles and playing video games.

I enjoy getting to know my patients, listening to what matters to them and working together to find a practical plan that supports their health and wellbeing.
