No, the Tend app is optional but highly recommended. It’s a powerful tool for both clinicians and patients, with around 80% of Tend patients using it to manage their healthcare.

You can request a same-day medical certificate, see a doctor online 24/7, enrol and manage your Tend account directly via our website, no app needed.

We're working on bringing more to the web, but for the full Tend experience, the app is the way to go.

You can still book appointments and access care by calling your local clinic.
