Kate is a registered nurse working across all Tend Tauranga clinics. She has experience working in surgical and orthopaedic wards as well as aged care.
Kate’s areas of interest include diabetes and metabolic disease, lifestyle stress, cardiac health, and disease prevention. She is motivated by the opportunity to empower people to make health changes that improve their wellbeing both now and in the future.
She enjoys working as a clinician because of the people she meets and the satisfaction of helping patients make progress and solve health challenges.
Outside of work, Kate teaches spin classes twice a week, enjoys horse riding, ocean swimming, and watching her children play sports.
