Enrolled patients
Enrolment is currently available to residents in Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Canterbury. An enrolled patient is someone who has chosen Tend as their primary care provider.
The way you pay depends on your enrolment status, but in all cases, the easiest way is to add a debit or credit card to your Tend account - just like Uber, payment is deducted after your appointment.
Enrolled patients
If you enrolled with Tend directly, you'll need to pay for your appointment using a credit or debit card. This is our secure in-app payment method and must be set up before your appointment.
Casual patients
If you are visiting us as a casual patient (not enrolled with us) you will also need to pay by credit or debit card.
Patients from acquired clinics
If you were part of a clinic that has recently joined Tend, you may still be able to pay in-person using credit/debit card, cash or bank transfer.
Paying by Credit/Debit Card
At Tend, we use bank-grade security, and all payment details are encrypted for your protection.
