Enrolled patients
Enrolment is currently available to residents in Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Canterbury. An enrolled patient is someone who has chosen Tend as their primary care provider.
Enrolled fees
Enrolling with Tend makes us your primary healthcare provider, giving you access to lower consultation fees. Our doctors and nurses become your main point of care, ensuring continuity and a more personalised healthcare experience. Enrolled patients benefit from lower fees because their GP receives government capitation funding, which helps offset the cost of their care.
Enrolled fees vary between clinics, click here to view your local clinic enrolled fees.
Casual fees
Casual patients remain registered with another GP and visit Tend on an as-needed basis. Because they are not enrolled, their appointments are not subsidised by government funding, resulting in higher consultation fees. Casuals fees start from $25 for under 14s for an Online Now 24/7 appointment.

However Online Now 10 minute appointments is cheaper for some casual patients with a CSC card.
Online Now appointments after hours (10pm - 8am) and on public holidays will cost an extra $10, except for those under 14 years with a CSC who are free at all times.
A Community Services Card (CSC) in New Zealand helps people on lower incomes pay less for healthcare and prescriptions. You must be enrolled with a GP to access Community Service Card holder pricing.
